We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Administrator to work as part of the Recruitment Team supporting essential on-boarding activity aligned to Recruitment objectives.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work in a busy Recruitment Team. The individual will work as part of a team supporting and coordinating all aspects of the recruitment pre-employment checks process. The role includes information processing including recording data into the Trac Recruitment Management System and ESR (Electronic Staff Record). Other duties include close liaison with managers and the preparation of offer letters, processing pre-employment checks and contracts of employment. It is essential that post-holder provides a professional, customer-focussed service.

  • To work as part of the recruitment team processing pre-employment checks for successful candidates.
  • To process the pre-employment checks: right to work, verification of identity, qualifications, references, professional registration checks, DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) and Occupational Health for successful candidates. Liaising with other departments such as Occupational Health, Finance and Payroll.
  • Provide general advice to staff and managers on basic terms & conditions, policy, procedure and practice.

Please note it is a requirement of The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust that all successful candidates who require a DBS for the post they have been offered pay for their DBS certificate. The method of payment is a salary deduction from your first month’s pay.
