We are currently recruiting for an Human Resources Administrator for St Pierre Park Hotel & Spa, Hand Picked Hotels, Guernsey

St Pierre Park Hotel & Spa is a 131 bedroom 4 star hotel with a variety of function and event spaces, a restaurant and bar, stunning Health club & Spa and a golf course. We offer live in accommodation to many of our team members and overseeing this forms part of the HR Managers responsibilities.

This Human Resources Administrator role is 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday - although we are open to candidates looking to work between 30 and 40 hours per week, the salary would be offered on a pro rata basis to accommodate less hours.

As the Human Resources Administrator you will support the Regional HR Manager, ensuring our teams feel engaged and supported and that they have a positive experience with Hand Picked Hotels from their initial on boarding and right through their employment journey.

Please note, this position does not offer live-in, so only on island applicants can be considered.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing advice and guidance to managers and team members for employment related matters.
  • Delivering an efficient and accurate HR service whilst managing high volumes of administration.
  • Supporting recruitment processes as required.
  • Collating accurate periodic payroll information and routine compliance checks.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador, promoting Company values, behaviours, benefits and new initiatives.

About you:

  • You will have experience working in an Human Resources within a generalist role.
  • You will have strong administrative skills with a good knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook. Previous experience of working with an HRIS is desirable.
  • You will have a working knowledge of employment practices in Guernsey.
  • You are confident when working alone, highly organised and able to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail in a busy and fast paced environment.
  • You have excellent communication skills, find it easy to build rapport with others and will understand the importance of treating everyone as an individual.
