IS THIS SOMETHING THAT INTERESTS YOU?
The Human Resources Administrator will support an expanding Finance and People Team at Foods Connected. As we operate a shared services support function this role you will be supporting the people function across the business covering operational support of learning & development, talent acquisition and employee engagement initiatives through collaboration with the Human Resources Manager. As a shared service team you will have ownership of a variety of financial management and financial accounting operations and offering support to the Financial Director.
In support of the People function a high level of organisation and awareness of employment legislation and practices will be required to oversee tasks associated with talent acquisition, performance reviews and employee engagement initiatives. Building partnerships with external providers of learning and development initiatives and in turn facilitation and coordination of these courses internally across all teams at Foods Connected to support our professional and career development initiatives will provide opportunities to collaborate both internally and externally.
Due to the varied nature of this role you may be required to support functions such as accounts payable and receivable, reconciliation of bank statements and payroll services and assist with supplier and client relationships and be involved in producing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, management accounts and cash-flow forecasts that will be utilised by the Finance Director and Leadership team at Foods Connected.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Human Resources Coordination:
- Oversee scheduling of interviews across all Foods Connected sites and input interview feedback to the HRIS through each stage of the process.
- Collaboration with the Human Resources Manager to facilitate a successful onboarding experience for new employees to Foods Connected.
- Conduct background checks and reference checks via our 3rd party provider ADP.
- Develop relationships with external providers of Learning and Development content, e.g. universities, local and national training providers both onsite and remote and coordination of training for employees.
- Manage version control and acceptance of all Foods Connected policies and procedures and ensure updated when required.
- Follow up with employees internally to manage successful employee engagement initiatives and surveys via our HRIS which will be used to contribute to regular HR reporting.
Financial Administration:
- Responsible for reconciliation and ownership of financial spreadsheets with daily transactions maintained.
- You will be expected to prepare balance sheets as well as track and reconciliation of bank statements.
- Create cost analysis reports
- Support monthly payroll and keep organised records of any changes and updates
- Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed.
- Provide administrative support during budget preparation to Financial Director and others where required.
- Participate and contribution towards quarterly and annual audits.
Office Management:
- Engage with providers of services such as office space, cleaning and maintenance of all office sites of Foods Connected.
- Manage internal inventory of IT equipment and system access required across all Foods Connected locations and employee groups.
- Assisting team members with any site visits from customers to our locations in preparation of a successful event.
- Be part of internal Foods Connected committees to support and plan CSR and employee engagement events and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Human Resources.
- If focusing on Human Resources Pathway you should hold or be working towards CIPD certification Level 3 or 5.
- If focusing on a financial path you hold or be or working towards obtaining status as part qualified finance professional. E.g. CMA or ACA
Experience Required:
To perform this job successfully, the Human Resources Administrator should have experience with:
- Awareness of Employment legislation across the UK and Northern Ireland.
- Knowledge of Financial and Management accounting practices.
- 2 years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a similar role.
