Job description

Sandhills East are seeking a student to support its Human Resources team with recruitment and HR activities. A large part of this role will focus on recruitment so the successful candidate will need to be a great communicator with a high attention to detail. This internship will provide hands on experience in a HR environment, so this is a great opportunity for a candidate who is considering a career in HR following their graduation. Any candidates with related experience are strongly encouraged to apply for this role.
Responsibilities of the Human Resources Intern include:
*Assisting with recruitment administration across European offices. Processing and screening applicants, conducting telephone interviews and sending out assessments
*Arranging and attending interviews
*Attending career fairs to promote available positions and following up with potential candidates
*Posting positions on University career sites and external job boards
*Processing new hires, including contracts, new starter paperwork, orientation training
*Assisting with safety administration, risk assessments and annual health and safety training
*HR administration assistance
Requirements:
*Currently studying a degree in a related subject
*Experience/previous internship working in a HR or recruitment role is preferred
*Communication skills – experience working with customers, clients
*Fluency in English
*Flexibility to work 16+ hours per week
*Drivers Licence
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week
Salary: From £12.50 per hour
