We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and ambitious occupational therapists who have a range of experience of working across diverse settings. At Coventry University our teaching roles give you the opportunity to develop your academic career whether you are seeking to enter Higher Education for the first time or are an experienced academic.
We will support you to use your knowledge and experience to grow the future workforce of occupational therapy; to work alongside our large team bringing together creative and innovative approaches in learning and teaching within our occupational therapy and AHP courses. You will provide academic and pastoral support to our learners across BSc, MSc and apprenticeship courses. Depending on your experience and prior level of study, there will be the opportunity to contribute to pre-registration and post registration education and new course innovations.

For the assistant professor post applicants should demonstrate an excellent understanding of their specialist area of practice/education and be able to demonstrate research and evidence-informed practice within that area. At Assistant Professor level, applicants should be able to demonstrate a high level of expertise holding a higher degree in an occupational therapy or related subject and be registered with the HCPC. Experience of teaching students, either within a HEI or as a highly experienced clinical educator, would be advantageous. You will work alongside the team to lead and embed new and evolving learning technology and design to support engagement in learning to enhance our learner’s leadership skills, person centred approaches, evidence informed practice and digital capabilities for the future.
