At Kids’ Country, we are a non-profit leader in providing quality before and after school childcare for the San Ramon Valley Unified School District.
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a leader to provide a spectrum of strategic and tactical HR expertise tp leverage the company’s most important asset, its people. This position will oversee all aspects of the HR function including strategy, compliance, employee relations, recruitment and retention, payroll and employee benefits. This position will create and implement a strategy to develop a high performing, inclusive and equitable work environment where all employees are treated with respect and work within Kids Country’s core values.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 7-10 years of progressive HR experience and 5 years in a management role.
- Proven experience with a wide array of HR programs and practices including employment law, compensation, performance management, leadership development, coaching, employee relations, regulatory compliance, broker negotiation process and organizational effectiveness.
- Business Acumen: A solid understanding of the organization’s business strategy as well as the external talent marketplace with the ability to offer insights that can be translated into actionable HR plans.
- Organizational Influence: Able to leverage the understanding of the company culture, interpersonal dynamics and knowledge of business priorities to drive to results. Ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels and across multiple geographies.
- Results Driven: Credibility earned through the ability to prioritize and deliver commitments with a sense of urgency. Strive for results that set new standards and are viewed as a value-add to the organization.
- Integrity: Ability to do what is right for the business by being advocates for our associates. Acts with tact, integrity and confidentiality to resolve sensitive HR issues.
- Effective Communication: Strong listening skills with the ability to communicate in a professional, direct and concise manner with associates at multiple levels. Able to convey messages appropriately based on audience.
- Team Leadership: Develop and motivates the team through a demonstrated presence of purpose, excitement and inclusion incorporate core values and strategies. Align individual goals to business objectives and holds individuals accountable for achieving results.
