Software Engineer
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

The Role
The Software Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of custom solutions within Almac ensuring that the technical design of delivered solutions matches the defined software architecture and ensuring the functional requirements in terms of usability, efficiency, reliability, availability, security and scalability are met.
Essential Criteria
- Third level qualification in Computer Science or related subject
- Experience of SQL
- Experience of Java
- Understand the different types of Software Testing
- Experience and or/understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle
Desirable Criteria
(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exists)
- Experience of AWS
- Experience of Spring and/or Spring Boot
- Experience of working in an Agile Environment
- Experience of Angular
- Experience in a customer facing role
- Experience of PL/SQL
