About the role

First things first: you want to know what you're actually applying for. It's impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distil it down to a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:

This is a pivotal role for Mews as we enter the next phase of our high-growth journey. Our ideal candidate has a successful track record at SaaS B2B technology companies. You should also have experience positioning a company as a thought leader in their space. You'll receive high-level objectives from the leadership team and must figure out with your team how to accomplish those objectives using knowledge, data and experience.

✅ Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

  • Employee Relations Management. Be an expert in industry best practices around functional areas of new trends and opportunities to constantly raise the bar on people deliverables
  • Employee Lifecycle Management. Maintain a strong focus on employee relations, performance management, employee engagement and retention activities, including an understanding of compensation and benefits and development activity.
  • Learning & Development: Work closely with the L&D Manager, support the design and delivery of appropriate training and development programs.
  • Management & People Data Analysis. Demonstrate very strong analytical capabilities and influence business leaders with data-driven recommendations to improve performance, retention and the employee experience.
  • People Team Programs Design & Execution. Develop and own the delivery of the strategic people related plans for each Mews business leader, ensuring consistency with the People Team key objectives and goals & enforce consistency with our policies & procedures.
  • Champion collaborative cross functional relationships Ensure alignment of People related programs by partnering with fellow Mewsers (peers and colleagues).

You'll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant Human Resources experience is required University degree in business administration, Human Resources or related field is required
  • Experience leading and working on complex cross-functional projects with multiple partners, including experience working internationally (opening new countries)
  • Experience of operating as a strategic HR Business Partner with demonstrated success in meeting exceptionally high standards in a high volume, fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment.
  • Coaching and mentoring experience at all levels of an organization.
  • The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company.
  • For us, the Culture fit is non-negotiable - you will have high energy and flexibility, fantastic communication skills, huge amounts of drive and not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves" when needed.
  • Knowledge of International labor legislation (EU legislation preferred) and practical application of International labour law practices is preferred
  • Fluent English
