Job Purpose and Mission
The purpose of this role is to manage strategic high value cross-functional HR Transformation programme – implementation of SAP Success Factors across EMEA equity markets, from scope definition, negotiation, through to delivery and measurement.
This role will manage all project lifecycle activities associated with the change as well as multiple workstreams concurrently, all of which will be critical to the delivery of the Success Factors implementation plan. It will work with several individuals internally and externally from different markets/functions such as, but not restricted to: EMEA Partner Resources (PRO) Leadership Team, EMEA functions (incl. legal, finance, technology), Markets Partner Resources, Operations and Manufacturing functions as well as Global PRO and Technology functions.
Key Job Dimensions & Scope of Role
- No direct reports, but will influence, motivate and manage highly diverse project teams across EMEA - both internally and externally with senior management to get things done
- Located in London, with EMEA wide responsibility and intermittent travel across EMEA
- Responsible for management of day-to-day project decisions, escalating risks and issues and significant spend or impact discussions to the Transformation Lead, Project Steering Committee / Project Sponsor
- Prior HRIS/HR technology (Saas) with SAP Success Factors highly desirable.
- High level of decision making responsibility
Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Defines project scope with sponsor and aligns with relevant stakeholders
- Builds critical path for delivery and provides risk assessment and practical solutions using Project Management methodologies.
- Defines project team, roles and responsibilities with timelines and key milestones
- Creates appropriate project governance and leads project team with effective project management skill and tools, incl.
- Checking in with and coaching team members regularly to ensure their workstreams are delivered on time
- Managing and running regular team check-ins, communicating project status reports to the various teams (Project Team, Project Steer Co, US Advisory Teams).
- Prioritising workflow and delegating tasks and providing follow up to ensure deadlines are achieved
- Ability to integrate workstream plans to ensure a project plan reflects agreed timeline, scope and budget is critical
- Ability to drive dependency identification and agree effective treatment within the team.
- Identifies key stakeholders (internally and externally) to include throughout the programme (in addition to project team) and provide updates at appropriate times (in agreement with SteerCo/Sponsor as required)
- Ensures project is delivered to scope, on time and budget
- Manages scope and ensures project is delivered on time; can give expected completion date at all times
- Establish a programme governance model and appropriate reporting and transparency for the project
- Manage/Record changes in scope, follows a change control process and updates SteerCo/Sponsor
- Manages CapEx and OpEx spend to budget allowance and raises deviation to SteerCo/Sponsor, to secure approval as required
- Measures benefit at appropriate intervals and updates SteerCo/Sponsor as required and liaise with leadership if significant changes in expected benefits; records benefit already delivered
- Ensures communications and stakeholder plans are in place
- Articulates the bigger picture in order to drive decision making.
- Communicates effectively with the ability to rally the Project Team and keep them motivated, especially during project lags/challenging situations.
- Ability to navigate ambigiuous circumstances such as external resource constraints, project limitations, conflicts, and create stability for the team
- Ensures materials are up to date (single source of truth) and accessible to internal stakeholders
- Pragmatic and willing to get involved in tasks, when necessary, to ensure objectives are achieved and ability to work to multiple deadlines and under pressure
- Conducts project review and builds continuous improvement into the organisation
- Influences (upwards) to senior team members to get work done; increases connection across the business; and is aware how project will impact others in business

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Project professional proficient with handling time, money and people across multiple functions at pace
- Project management experience in implementing HR Saas Technology (e.g. SAP Success Factors) and Integrations
- Proven project management toolkit and track record of delivering complex time sensitive projects
- Proficient in MS Excel and PPT, and any project planning tool
- Ability to size and triangulate projects and measure impact
- Structured approach, with attention to detail, and flexibility to work in complex/unstructured environment
- Excellent communicator (verbal and written)
- Ability to influence (without direct reporting lines) and manage senior stakeholders effectively
- Experience in project managing capital and people projects within global organisation
- Cultural sensitivity, collaborative leader, strong values
- Positive and optimistic approach that garners confidence and buy-in cross-functionally quickly
- Open to reviewing and continuously improving project and project management approach
