As L'Oréal’s Early Careers Intern you’ll be developing your own skills and knowledge while helping others to do the same. Our Early Careers team oversees Apprentices, Interns and Graduates in our business (almost 250 people!) and works with the business to build great experiences for both the teams and the individuals joining us.
Day-to-day you may be...
- Supporting Early Careers on developing a learning offering for your fellow Interns, Apprentices and Grads.
- Executing and managing our onboarding programmes at the following times:
Graduates: July & January
Interns: July
Apprentices: September
- Supporting Generalist HR related tasks:
Notetaking in Employee Relations cases
OneProfile moves/Line Manager changes
Occupational health assessments
Candex support
- Helping to support and manage our Intern & Apprentice Community NextGen, being the link between the Early Careers team and Intern/Apprentice population.
- Supporting with the monthly roll out of our NPS survey
- Managing and booking in monthly coffee drop-in sessions for our populations
- Supporting on ad hoc tasks and projects throughout the year
- Be responsible for keeping our Early Careers Trackers & team pages up to date with role changes/line manager changes and new starters!
You have...
In order to be successful in this role you will need to have:
- Excellent communication skills: ability to build genuine relationships at all levels
- Organisation skills: ability to plan, co-ordinate and react quickly to changes, to prioritise and manage your own workload.
- Attention to detail: ability to analyse data and draw conclusions, you‘ll be able to learn systems quickly and use Excel spreadsheets.
- Creative thinking: generate new ideas and ways to animate our learning offer e.g. icebreaker games and PowerPoint design
- Proactivity, with a keen eye for improved efficiency.
- You may be required to travel to our other office locations frequently during this internship.

- Eligible to work in the UK
- In your second year at University on a course which enables you to take an Industrial Placement Year (unfortunately if you are graduated you are not eligible).
