Introduction
The HR Systems and Data Team will be responsible for the application support and development of the new HR and Payroll System, enabling customers to make full use of the applications. HR Systems Team experts provide leadership and technical advice on system applications to customers, maximising productivity and performance of the system. The Team will lead and contribute to HR business improvement projects, HR system module implementation, and will identify opportunities for improvements to business activities and system processes.
The Role
Part of the HR Systems team focussing on HR Systems application support and maintenance, enabling customers to make full use of the applications on which service relies. Responsible for the support and development of HR system. The role holder is responsible also for the maintenance of the complement register, identifying and investigating possible errors to ensure the accuracy of the position register and employee data, answering queries, running of the monthly workforce information reports and providing ad hoc reports, to ensure business continuity.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Support and maintenance of HR and Payroll System. Providing direct user support to customers.
- Maximising system productivity and performance, ensuring the most effective and efficient use of the systems.
- Running monthly Workforce Information (WI) reports accurately and on time to provide the business with correct workforce data. Including regular and correct maintenance of the reports’ distribution list in order to control correct access to the reports.
- Responds to system problems and customer enquiries, following agreed procedures for system and incident management, including documenting actions and outcomes.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
Criterion 1
Advanced Excel user with the ability to create Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP’s as well as writing reports using macros and report browsers.
Criterion 2
Knowledge and experience of providing management information from HR Information Systems.
Criterion 3
Ability to prioritise own workload to ensure delivery of a high-quality customer service in line with the monthly reporting and payroll cycle.
