Senior HR Specialist | Belfast | Hybrid

The Role
This role is a Full-Time Permanent position. This position involves providing expert HR advice and support to a large organisation, with the support of HR Leadership. The individual successful in this role will be able to plan and implement relevant HR initiatives, to ensure that the company as a whole operates on a best practice approach to manage the internal team, in line with current legislation.
The following responsibilities will apply to the successful candidate:
- Lead the delivery of group HR initiatives and processes within the assigned client group, adhering to specified time frames and budgets.
- Manage organisational change, performance reviews, promotions, succession planning, and annual pay reviews within the client group.
- Advise and guide managers on the application of core HR policies and procedures, including performance and absence management, internal mobility, and development planning.
- Take the lead in managing and resolving employee relations issues proactively.
- Lead or support various general HR projects, such as responding to legislative changes, employee engagement initiatives, retention activities, and other HR strategy-related projects.
- Act in a line management capacity for other HR Officers and/or Administrators in the team.
The Person
- Qualifications: Hold relevant HR qualification(s), ideally at CIPD level 7
- Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Strong HR generalist with experience in a fiduciary/professional services environment, preferably in a multi-jurisdictional business setting.
- Proven ability to identify, scope, and implement commercial and pragmatic HR solutions to meet business needs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and sensitively across all levels of the organisation.
- Strong organisational skills, including effective planning and time management to prioritise multiple activities.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, including intermediate Excel skills.
- Working knowledge of Irish and UK Employment Law is essential.
