Overview
Compass Associates is proud to be exclusively partnering alongside a growing provider for nurse-led complex healthcare in the home. They were founded over 15 years ago with a solid reputation in Domiciliary Care in the region, with new focus on complex care at home. Together, we are looking for a Clinical Operations Director to head up the clinical leadership and transformation for the organisation.
Reporting to the Board and working closely with the COO, you will be instrumental in overlooking and providing clinical supervision for a small clinical and operational team, you will also provide management to geographically spread Nurse Managers (a mixture of RGNs and RCNs) for the organisation.
As part of the senior management team, you will ensure the organisation is fully compliant with all the policies, procedures and regulations. Furthermore you will maintaining the quality for the company’s caseload with a view to expand on more clients in the future.
We are ideally looking for someone who has deep-rooted experience overlooking both adult and children community care packages. The ideal Clinical Director will be hands on, with visibility when needed in the field, setting standards of hard work with other employees in the business. Alongside this be a good decision maker, strategic and driven to manage a growing project.
Location
The post is based in their Headquarters in Bedford with travel across a region, some flexibility to work from home when needed but majority of the tenure needs to be leading a team from their HQ.
It is commutable from St Neots, Cambridge, Milton Keynes, Stevenage and Luton.
Requirements
- Nurse Qualified, valid NMC pin
- Experience working within Community Complex Care (Acquired Brain Injury, Spinal Injury, High Dependency and Intensive Care settings)
- Extensive understanding of Care Quality Commission standards and Governance
- Data driven, comfortable in analysing service outcome information and problem-solving
- Passionate in promoting independence for those needing complex care from disabilities
- Commercially savvy and understands the Complex Care strategy, growth and agenda in the UK
- Hands on and not afraid to be ‘out there in the field’
- Clear DBS
2 stages, one initial MS Teams interview with the COO followed by a face to face interview with presentation at Headquarters with the Board, a psychometric test also needs to be completed.
Salary and Benefits
The salary on the position is £75,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on experience, additional company benefits includes 25 days annual leave + 8 Bank Holidays
