SUMMARY OF ROLE
This is a part time, flexible, role working approximately 20-25 hours per week and is 100% based from home.
The purpose of this role is providing Human Resources support to the Managing Director and HR Consultants and to provide HR Admin and Recruitment administration for client related projects and services. You’ll take responsibility for updating HR policy and process documentation, drafting HR policies, and researching information as well as delivering outsourced HR activities for key clients.
You’ll work directly with senior managers of small to medium sized businesses working on their HR lifecycle needs and providing them with recruitment support. You will take the lead on client communications, employee surveys and employment law updates when needed.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and update the Client’s Staff Handbooks and other HR tools/reference materials in line with annual legislative changes, using HR Inform/XpertHR and other credible sources as and when required.
- Prepare and issue frequent employment law updates and e-bulletins to client base.
- Researching and supporting the drafting of new HR policies, tools, and materials as required
- Drafting Contracts of Employment and offer letters for clients as required.
- Providing administrative support to the HR Consultants.
- Occasional admin support for key client cover in relation of absences (holidays/sickness)
- Provide HR assistance on HR projects including TUPE, restructuring and redundancy, recruitment and training, grievance and disciplinary matters, absence management and long-term sickness procedures.
- Provide outsourced HR admin for certain clients including remote HRIS administration, e.g., starter, leavers, family leave, reporting in line with the client service level agreements SLA.
- Provide Recruitment and Response Handling support to client driven recruitment campaigns, including logging vacancies, logging candidates, issuing recruitment packs, shortlisting, and arranging interviews, rejecting unsuccessful applicants.
- Attending relevant training to develop skills and knowledge.
- Attend Team Meetings as required (usually monthly).
- Carryout other associated ad-hoc administrative duties as directed by the Managing Director
- Assist with social media, marketing, and telesales activities, to promote the services using Mailchimp, Survey Monkey, Canva and Adobe
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Good general education to secondary school level with at least five GCSE Grades 9-5 including Maths and English
- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent experience or currently studying towards
- Associate CIPD status
- Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Forms, PowerPoint, Canva, Mailchimp, BreatheHR
- Excellent letter writing/ notes ability
- Marketing/Comms experience
- Attention to Detail
- Work to deadlines
- Customer/Client Service orientated
- Digital/Social media skills(Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Able to work under own in initiative - a true self-starter
- Strong HR and Recruitment background
- HR Administration procedures – e.g. disciplinary and grievance, absence, recruitment practices
- Experience of working in an internal HR department
- Experience of working in a client facing role
- Experience of building relationships internally and externally

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ensuring all HR and Employer responsibilities are dealt with in accordance with Company procedures and the Staff Handbook
- Understanding the need for confidentiality when dealing with both internal and external information and adherence to GDPR
- Flexibility to travel within the UK on occasions.
- Flexibility to work outside of, or in excess of standard hours, when necessary to achieve objectives required.

- Ability to work confidentially from home with space for a dedicated workstation set up (equipment will be provided).
