Position: HR Project Manager
Location: Thorne (DN8)
Shift pattern: Monday-Friday. Day time hours
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (Full-Time) - 9 Months
Closing Date: 7th July 2023

We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;

  • Lead a HR work stream or small HR project in line with the project management methodology to achieve successful project delivery.
  • Translate project requirements into HR project elements, objectives, milestones and tasks and lead the overall planning, control, status reporting, stability and project delivery.
  • Contribute to managing the budget and reporting progress of the project on an ongoing basis.
  • Support decision making through the provision of business intelligence and reporting of key metrics.
  • Identify and control the issues on the project, drive resolution of issues for a satisfactory outcome and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Ensure the health of the project, identify project risks and mitigation plans and ensure these risks are proactively communicated and reviewed on a regular basis.
  • Ensure all required project documentation and any relevant system reporting is completed to quality standards, kept up to date, available throughout the project and maintained in the project files.
  • Build strong relationships across all functional support e.g. Resourcing, People Services, Compensation and Benefits.

  • Previous experience within a Project Manager role is essential.
  • Operational experience or knowledge would be desirable.
  • Proven record of managing a Project or been a HR Workstream Lead for a major project.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder management al all levels.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Project Delivery.
  • Use of DePICT project management methodology.
  • Use of ACT change management methodology.
  • Knowledge of BCA and Change Control processes.
