Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic student / graduate with an interest in Human Resources to join our People Team on a 12 month placement from summer 2023.
Supported by your HR Manager and colleagues around you, you will play an integral role in supporting the People team with a wide range of duties, allowing you to develop a concrete understanding of HR principles whilst gaining invaluable skills and experience in all aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, engagement and learning & development.
Performing various administrative tasks and supporting the departments daily activities, you will manage and prioritise the workflow of all associated HR and employee lifecycle administration requests and have exposure to a wide range of HR processes. We will also explore with the successful candidate the opportunity to provide a project that would be helpful to the candidate during their time with us, for example coordinating the annual employee survey.
You will have a real passion for people, with strong written communication skills and attention to detail. You will be able to prioritise your workload effectively and work well as part of a team. We are looking for candidates currently studying in their penultimate or final year of study or those recently graduated with an associated degree related to the role.
This is a 12 month placement working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work the occasional weekend when required. Travel across the Devonshire Group locations will be required on occasion.
