As a People Partner, you'll be contributing to the development of our culture in line with our values, partnering and supporting the Head of People to help them build and develop an exceptional service to our employees.
About this role and the impact you will have:
Working in close partnership with the Head of People the People Partner will play an important role in creating an exceptional employee experience for Cazoo employees within the Central Functions
Responsibilities include:
- Partner with Head of People to deliver on the people plan that focuses on results including organisation objectives and an exceptional employee experience evidenced by industry leading levels of engagement within the Central Functions.
- Support the Head of People to ensure appropriate organisation design and work in close partnership with the Talent Acquisition team to deliver hiring plans whilst ensuring exceptional candidate experience and development of Cazoo employer brand.
- Support the Head of People to build a deep knowledge of our organisation and employees by gathering and analysing internal data and external insight to hone the team's focus
- Work in partnership with the Head of People, mid level managers and learning and development partners to make sure that appropriate learning interventions are in place to develop exceptional performance and progression of talent.
- Support the Head of People in driving successful DEI initiatives to achieve our objectives and continually develop our inclusive culture.
- Support the Head of People on a broad selection of people related projects within a fast moving environment.
- Provide HR support and consultation to the business, answering employee and manager queries about HR initiatives, policies and other HR related topics.
- Advise on HR matters including employee relations, development, performance and change initiatives.
- Support planning and roll out of HR programmes that further develop a world class employee experience.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR policies and practices, propose and implement solutions to improve.
Key skills and experience:
- Previous experience of working as an HR Advisor, consultant or similar role.
- Working knowledge of current and relevant employment legislation, case law and HR best practice.
- Proven experience of successfully delivering expert HR advice to line managers and leaders within a fast moving business
- Excellent organisation and administration skills.
- Ability to advise and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Well developed analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to organise and analyse data, using HR systems for reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Humble and willing to get hands-on to deliver.
- Intellectually curious and engaged in the latest people related practice and thinking.
- Experience of working with data and strong analytical skills
- A growth mindset, ready for a challenge and to push yourself outside of your comfort zone.

This role is primarily based in London in our offices between Kings Cross and Euston stations. Whilst this is an office based role flexible working is available on a blended office / home working basis in line with preference of the successful candidate and requirements of the role and team.
