This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Cruise business as the new HR People Coordinator. You will be at the forefront of fostering a positive workplace environment. As the HR People Coordinator, you’ll play a crucial role in facilitating seamless communication between departments, streamlining processes and ensuring all day-to-day administration activities are completed to an exceptionally high standard.

We offer flexible working without compromising the importance of collaboration! This role is a hybrid working role with 2 days in our Ashford hub.
This is ideally a full-time role but we’re happy to consider flexible options and patterns – whether you want to work 9am -5pm or 8am-4pm, whatever your pattern, we can work with you to ensure you are at your most productive.
Main Responsibilities- Act as first point of contact for a variety of People related queries such as pay changes, reporting line changes, systems updates, reference requests and annual leave queries (amongst others)
- Ensure that all business administration is completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Onboard new starters, including issuing contracts and offer letters, and accurately uploading to the HRIS.
- Produce simple people analytics and identify any trends or patterns for further investigation
- Reporting on data ideally using Tableau or similar
- Take ownership of all people data and ensure its accuracy is maintained
- Updating of organisation charts, keeping in regular contact with relevant stakeholders
- Working alongside the Cruise People Partner supporting on project work to enable effective deployment of people initiatives
- Providing regular adhoc data reports to the People Director
- Recommend new approaches and procedures to ensure continuous improvements.
- Ideally someone who has a genuine interest in pursuing a career in HR (ideally within the Cruise or Travel industry)
- Previous experience within a similar HR or People position with an ability to have discretion and a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent communication and organisational skills alongside excellent attention to detail, accuracy and strong numeracy skills
- Exceptional administration skills and the ability to manage a varied workload
- Proficient in MS Word, advanced Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with HR systems is ideal but not essential
- Proactive approach to work and be able to pick things up quickly with a positive can-do attitude
- Genuine passion for enhancing the colleague lifecycle
- Motivation and ability to learn quickly
