Job description

We are recruiting a vibrant and enthusiastic HR Operations Specialist to support the HR Manager The role is a full-time position working 48 hours per week. Mainly Monday to Friday 9.00 am -7.00 pm /or 8.00 am – 6 pm. This is an office based as well as restaurant-based role.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain digital and electronic records of employees on Harri.
  • Support the HR Manager for all internal and external HR-related projects and day to day tasks.
  • Assist with attracting talent, oversee the entire recruitment cycle from start to finish for all new vacancies by sourcing candidates, performing reference checks, and issuing employment contracts.
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
  • Perform onboardings and update records as part of the onboarding process.
  • Advise line managers and employees on employment law and policies and procedures.
  • Advise on disciplinary and employee performance problems.
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
  • Lead on a wide variety of people related projects including employee engagement and talent attraction.
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.

  • Great attention to detail
  • A keen interest to learn about people policies and procedures.
  • Strong proven experience as a HR Generalist in a similar HR position
  • CIPD 5 (or similar background) Ideally studying towards it.
  • Exposure to labour law and employment regulations.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools.
  • Previous experience in hospitality in a must

Eligibility: In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must either be eligible to live and work in the UK or must obtain permits to work in the UK prior to application. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
