Salary: £21,575 - 21,968 per annum pro rata

Base Location: Thorn Turn Depot or Sandy Depot

More about the role:
If you’re discreet and professional with a caring attitude, then we would like to hear from you. Find your greatness by joining our Non-Emergency Patient Transport Team (NEPT) as one of our Ambulance driver/ Care Assistants. You’ll support non-emergency patients by providing first class, safe care during their transportation between hospital/clinic appointments and their home. You’ll also provide the same quality of care when transporting SEND children to and from schools.
Being able to remain calm under pressure is key, as is being willing to undertake training to broaden your knowledge of medical and mental health conditions. A flexible, adaptable approach is required as every day will be different. A Full D1 licence with no restrictions test or a PVC licence test will be paid for by us as part of your training. You will have to sign a minimum length of contract and your contract will be dependent on you passing the driving test.
You’ll be able to read, write and speak the English language and be able to understand and follow policies and procedures supplied to you. A comprehensive training package is provided.
