What to expect
This role is responsible for supporting the Solihull HR team to deliver our People Strategy. As part of a team of 2 HR Ops & Projects consultants, you will be working on a number of key projects and supporting a variety of employee lifecycle activity across Solihull plant. Alongside working with our HRBP team, this role will involve collaborating with stakeholders from manufacturing & our trade union as well as working closely with wider HR teams.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Delivery and deployment of key engagement activity & events across plant, stemming from Pulse & eNPS insights, in conjunction with HRBPs and plant engagement champions.
- Collaborate with our HR and Comms teams to deliver our Purpose & Creators’ Code roll out, including establishing Purpose Ambassadors across plant.
- Work with plant people & wellbeing champions to deliver / coordinate local people initiatives, e.g., wellbeing & inclusion hub roll out, Motorvate, mental health training.
- Lead on local recognition deployment.
- Support delivery of initiatives to drive good attendance, including monitoring of our ATTCON model.
- Liaise with Manufacturing People Transformation workstreams to support deployment of key activity at Solihull, e.g. workwear, IAM2 roll out
- Support Diversity and Inclusion activities on site via the Solihull Diversity & Inclusion Council and the employee networks
- Support HRBP team with key employee lifecycle actions & projects, e.g. agency conversions, shift pattern changes, training activity
- Work with HRBP team on delivering day to day activity, including ad hoc reporting and process improvements.
- Ad hoc support to HR Direct to resolve complex Solihull-related queries.
- Play a key role in manufacturing/HR engagement forums.
What you’ll need
- Brilliant relationship building and stakeholder management skills
- High levels of communication, both written and verbal, adaptable to a variety of audiences
- Ability to prioritise and juggle multiple deliverables
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Demonstrable experience of our Creators’ Code behaviours
- Experience of manufacturing and / or a unionised environment
- Project management experience
- Event / workshop facilitation
