HR Operations Coordinator (London)
The Opportunity
Alvarez & Marsal is an entrepreneurial and dynamic professional services firm, successful in everything we do, and we are growing fast. We are looking for an enthusiastic and team-oriented HR coordinator to support our growing People Ops Team.
The Team
At the forefront of this growth, the People Ops Team delivers across the employee experience in 22 countries in EMEA. We are vital for building A&M's culture and setting clear values to adhere to. We are key in creating transparent processes for the entire employee journey and responsible for the smooth-running of our employees' lifecycle.
The Role
A&M are looking for a bright and highly organized team member who shares our passion for working with people, who is positive about work and who has great communication skills. We welcome someone who breathes quality at the highest level and who is a true team player. As a coordinator in the People Ops team, you will be based in London and provide support to the HR team across EMEA. Your aim will be to deliver an efficient, organised and responsive HR Operations service. Some of your duties could include:
Providing proactive operational support to the HR team across various priority tasks.
Processing and reviewing any Background Checks through third party vendors
Carrying out any invoice reconciliations
Preparing Reference Letters
Report preparation from Workday (and distribution of the Excel data)
Building and maintain effective relationships to support all stakeholders
Monitoring the HR inboxes and responding to any employee enquiries or escalating when needed
Updating the HR Management system (Workday) with all relevant information
New starters: Preparing all offer paperwork including cover letters, contracts and right to work documentation
The Requirements
The ideal candidate will be:
Proactive and detail orientated
Well organised and can handle your time effectively
Respectful to confidentiality and your integrity
Proficient with IT use of MS Office such as Word, Excel and Outlook
Have a minimum of one years' previous HR experience
Experienced in using an HR System (preferably Workday)
