Whytematter are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client. Our Client is looking for an HR Officer to join there team in Newry/Belfast/Londonderry with a 4 day working week and Hybrid option. The key role within the Human Resource Department providing and delivering support to the department and the company as a whole.

The HR Officer will provide HR advice and guidance to colleagues; working within the HR Team to implement company polices and procedures.

Accountabilities:

  • To be accountable for achieving the targets set for the role
  • To be accountable for the Quality of Work expectations for the role
  • To assist the HR Manager in ensuring high standards
  • To be accountable for your workstation and any equipment provided to you
  • To be accountable for the Health & Safety of yourself and colleagues.
  • Files and other documents relating to customer cases

General Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the HR team on providing HR advice and guidance to colleagues and line managers.
  • Implement and assist in management of recruitment process.
  • Generate and prepare employment contracts and all related correspondence.
  • Communicating HR procedure to all departments.
  • Assist in management and recording of all learning and development for teams.
  • Collect and collate information for a wide range of reports including monthly, board reports, equality returns and all general HR reports.
  • Attendance and note taking at all HR related meetings.
  • Assisting the HR Team with management of social and charity events.
  • Assisting the HR Team with all Health and Wellbeing initiatives.
  • Assisting with Health and Safety management.
  • All other HR duties as and when required.

Essential Criteria

  • CIPD 5
  • 2 years experience within similar role
