What is the role


As a key member of the Human Resources Team and reporting directly to the Head of HR you will be responsible for first line HR support and advice to managers on all people policies and processes on a day-to-day basis across the organisation.


You will be responsible for leading several HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including but not limited to; recruitment and induction, HR administration, absence management, employee relations, providing information to payroll as well as undertaking project work. This is a hands-on role, and you will be expected to balance multiple priorities simultaneously.


You will be someone who enjoys working across all areas of HR and enjoys balancing multiple priorities whilst maintaining quality of output. You will be a self-starter, organised and have a high level of attention to detail. You will be a strong communicator and able to converse with all levels within the organisation as well as dealing with challenging conversations.


You will have a minimum of three years of generalist HR experience (including HR administration, case work and recruitment). Importantly, you will be someone who driven, honest and has a high level of integrity.

Qualifications


  • Hold CIPD level 5 qualification (or above) or suitable relevant experience

Experience

  • A minimum of three years of relevant HR experience (must include HR administration, case work and recruitment)
  • Experience of working with BambooHR or a similar HR System
  • Generalist HR experience across a number of areas of HR.
  • Demonstrable experience of dealing with case work.
  • Experience of managing end-end to Recruitment.
  • Experience of helping manage payroll process

Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of all areas of HR
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office applications e.g. Excel, Outlook, Word and Sharepoint
  • Strong knowledge of Employment legislation
