The Post/Candidate:
An opportunity has arisen for a HR Officer to join our Pay, Terms and Conditions Team within the wider Employee Relations & Reward team, which provides professional, specialist HR advice over a number of expertise areas including Terms & Conditions, Job Evaluation, Organisational Change and Redeployment, HR Policies and Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, Staff Governance, Recognition and Reward. The HR Officer will support the team in delivering job evaluation and redeployment services, including providing first line support and guidance to managers and staff, and administering job evaluation panels.
The post holder will be educated to HNC level or equivalent with good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills and a good working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office packages. You will have some experience of working in an administrative role, ideally within a Human Resources Team, and you will demonstrate a professional approach to work and respect for confidentiality.
Location and Working Pattern:
The location for this post is Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Meridian Court, Glasgow. However, it should be noted that NSS is currently in the process of relocating from Meridian Court to nearby Delta House, 50 West Nile Street Glasgow G1 2NP.
Currently hybrid working.
The work pattern for this post is Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
