Full time salary range from £27,852 - £31,099
Hours
Monday to Friday, 37 per week from 08.30 – 16.30 finishing at 16.00 on a Friday (flexibility to start from 08.45/09.00)

The Dorset Centre of Excellence is looking to recruit a HR Officer – Recruitment and Operations to ensure appropriate Safer Recruitment procedures are followed for all employees, workers, contractors, directors, volunteers, and visitors, and to ensure regulatory, legislative, compliance and statutory requirements are met in respect of all terms of engagement.
As HR Officer you will be assisting the HR Manager in all key HR functions including, but not limited to; recruitment, staff development and training, employee relations and change management. A key part of the role will be to lead on the recruitment lifecycle for all employees and to provide and an efficient and responsive recruitment service to line managers, effectively appointing new employees ensuring all offers of employment, statutory and safer recruitment checks and any job specific requirements are completed on time, and appropriate evidence is retained.
We would like to hear from you if you can demonstrate experience of successfully managing recruitment campaigns, and substantial experience of providing proactive and responsive HR advice and service to managers, and HR procedures and legislation changes.
It is essential that you are a minimum of level 3 CIPD qualified or are studying for a CIPD qualification or have equivalent professional experience. You will also have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, attention to detail, strong relationship management skills and be confident in communicating both orally and in writing.
We are looking for someone with the highest levels of integrity and sensitivity, and the ability to sustain effective professional working relationships and understanding boundaries and confidentiality.

About the Dorset Centre of Excellence:
The Dorset Centre of Excellence is located at the eastern edge of Shaftesbury, approximately 2.3 miles from the town centre. The school is accessed via a private road and enjoys a secluded setting within its grounds. The accommodation extends to over 160,000 sq ft, set within in grounds of 55 acres.
Coombe House School located at the Dorset Centre of Excellence is expected to meet the needs of children and young people with social communication, social emotional and learning needs, such as those associated with Autism Spectrum Condition, which represents the largest group of children and young people supported by an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) in Dorset and nationally.
