Based in the Herefordshire village of Much Marcle, Westons Cider is an independent
cider-making company, making premium award-winning ciders since 1880.
A position has arisen within our HR Team for an experienced HR Manager to cover a period of maternity leave, for up to 6 months.
As HR Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a small HR and reception team, as well as providing HR operational support to the business. Key duties include; managing all aspects of the HR function, using HR metrics and insights to identify opportunities to improve organisational performance, making robust recommendations; ensuring company practice aligns with current employment law and best practices.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills/experience/ qualifications:
- Previous HR Management / Business Partner experience
- Previous experience managing a HR team
- Up to date knowledge of employment law
- Demonstrable experience in managing complex employee relations issues
- Ability to influence and build rapport with colleagues across the business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail & ability to work to tight deadlines
- Level 7 CIPD qualification or equivalent experience is desirable
- Previous experience working within an FMCG / manufacturing environment is advantageous
