At Vale Royal Fresh Foods Ltd we believe in honest, local, quality produce. We are a small family owned company and have been growing our business since 1987 with the same love and care we put into growing our beansprouts. Vale Royal Fresh Foods Ltd is situated North West of the village of Allostock in Cheshire. We are a close knit team and work together across all departments. This role will require flexibility to support across all departments.
For the right candidate, we will provide training and qualifications as part of your development if required.
There will be administrative responsibilities and organising with this role. They will support with office duties, sales and customer communication.
The candidate will manage all employee aspects within a company. This includes giving individual employees advice about the future of their careers, onboarding new employees, facilitating open communication between employees and management and leading workshops and training. They must be comfortable communicating with employees about sensitive subjects such as salary, pension and benefits. Furthermore, they must be accustomed to using technology frequently as data entry is also an important component of their job as they are expected to update all employee records on the company’s database.
The ideal candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees
- Developing programmes that enhance employee relations
- Promoting equality, health and safety within the company
- Ensuring that company employment policies follow national laws and regulations
- Advising executives on matters of salaries, redundancy and employment law
- Recording and processing confidential information.
A successful HR Officer candidate will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications that include:

Qualifications (any of the below would be beneficial)
- Higher National Diploma in Human Resources MAnagement
- Human resource graduate training programme
- CIPD Level 5 Award in related courses
