Due to continued growth and success, we are searching for an experienced and purpose driven Head of People to lead our People team and work closely with our CEO, Philip Ross. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can work autonomously and influence strategically.
Role Summary
●This role is strategically important. We’re looking for someone who will be a key member of the leadership team and create a people plan that builds on our foundations, taking them to the next level to help deliver our growth strategy.
● We’re proud of Safehinge Primera’s culture and we’re looking for someone who can define and develop it further, so it doesn’t get lost as we scale the business.
● The organisation has grown rapidly and there’s work to do to make sure people are working effectively cross-functionally and that people are clear on their accountabilities and responsibilities.
● We need to develop our leaders and managers to get the best from people in Safehinge Primera. We’re looking for you to create a culture of high challenge, developing existing performance frameworks, the level of coaching capability and enabling peer to peer feedback. This should be balanced with a wellbeing strategy that supports people to give their best performance.
● We want people in Safehinge Primera to be inspired by our purpose and aligned with our vision and ambition to scale. Working with our marketing team, you’ll own team communications as part of an overall engagement strategy.
● You’ll own the People experience at Safehinge Primera, through the full employee lifecycle. From attraction to separation, we’re looking for someone who will embed our values in all of our practices, so everyone has a positive experience of Safehinge Primera.
● As well as strategy planning and regular leadership team meetings, you’ll attend our Remuneration Committee meetings with Safehinge Primera’s Chair and Board, so we’re looking for someone with strong compensation and benefits experience.
● We’re looking for you to introduce people metrics and KPIs to demonstrate ROI of the people strategy and influence priorities and ownership at leadership and people manager level.
● You’ll lead a People team with strong capability and huge potential, so we’re looking for someone who can bring strong experience, build brilliant relationships built on trust and develop the team to realise their full potential.
Key responsibilities:
● Develop and deliver people strategy
● Own the employee lifecycle from attraction to separation
● Develop the Safehinge Primera employer brand, internally and externally
● Define and monitor KPIs and data to influence the strategy and ownership in the business
● Drive and increase employee engagement
● Develop people management capability and drive productivity and efficiency in our ways of working.
What you’ll bring

● Strong generalist HR experience, comparable to a Masters degree combined with good commercial awareness and understanding of working in an entrepreneurial environment.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you’ll engage, involve and collaborate at all levels in the organisation with clear and compelling content.
● There’s lots going on, so you’ll need experience of how to engage people and embed change, so it becomes a reality in our business.
● You’ll bring the right combination of strategic direction with a strong delivery focus.
● You’ll be results and data driven, with a high level of ownership and excellent attention to detail.
● You’ll have strong compensation and benefits experience.
● You’ll have excellent coaching and influencing skills.
● Ideally you’ll have experience working in a tech business and in markets outside of the UK, ideally the US.
● You’ll have a passion for creative and innovative ways to make work fun.
