A small but growing client within the sustainability and energy space. They are growing rapidly and with this grow actively seeking a Strategic HR Manager to join the team.
Job Description
This role will work with the senior leaders to develop our strategic people capability, support organisation development and lead talent acquisition, to support the overall business strategy. The role will drive cultural development, employee engagement, own the strategic workforce plan, and develop scalable HR processes to match the future growth of the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
o Be the advocate for the companies Vision and Values
o Continue to develop ways of working to ensure 'lived' values
o Ensure the company culture becomes and continues to be a focus throughout the company
o Work with senior leaders on strategies to improve employee engagement to support business performance
o Support and advise senior leaders on workforce planning/ strategies
o Support and advise senior leaders in developing the organisation and operating model to match business and departmental needs as the business grows
o Continue to develop a relevant learning and development culture
o Implement and oversee learning and development budgets
o Initiate and implement clear compensation plans that realise competitive, fair and equitable reward
o Develop a recruitment strategy which incorporates cultural requirements and enables the realisation of the business strategy. This includes generating all related materials.
o Main point of contact for all recruitment matters including drafting job descriptions, liaising with external agencies, contract negotiations, organising interview processes, realising expected timelines.
o Maintain a panel of recruiters suited to each role type and devise strategies for attracting talent, e.g. via LinkedIn or relevant channels.
o Devise and implement graduate and apprentice scheme
o Devise and implement robust, scalable and best practice HR systems and processes, policies and procedures
o Create and implement mechanisms that gather effective and relevant people data
o Develop people data reporting that offers meaningful insights and support decision making
o Benchmarking roles to determine correct salaries and benefits.
o Ensure the company fulfils all its statutory requirements
o Act as advisor in relation to all employment matters including advising on employment law
o Able to manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy

The Successful Applicant
- Minimum Level 5 CIPD qualified or MBA in Human Resource Management
- Experience in Strategic and Operational HR delivery
- Experience in Workforce planning and Organisation Design within a growing company
- Experience and proven success in working on cross-functional change projects involving all stakeholders
- Intercultural and digital communication expertise
- Ability to develop and implement robust organisational culture
- Adept at providing guidance and input on business unit restructures and succession planning
- Confident in creating and working on L&D strategies
- Strong Generalist HR experience with understanding of Organisational Culture; Resourcing; Learning, Development; Reward; Pay Negotiations; Employee Relations; Engagement, Equalities, Diversity & Inclusion
- You must have the 'Right to Work' in the UK
