MISSION
To support the business in achieving its ambition and delivering an incredible employee experience through the deployment of the business strategy in relation to our people and growing the employer brand. It is a truly generalist role, supporting HR colleagues and Managers in activities relating to the entire employee journey. Covering the employee experience; employee relations; learning and development; reward and recognition; digital HR; people analytics and talent acquisition.
The Impact you’ll make
- Be the trusted advisor to managers on all employee life-cycle matters. Advise to deliver legal compliance and pragmatism. Coach managers to support decision making and be a trusted sounding board.
- Taking a product design approach, develop HR solutions (many from scratch) which deliver a great employee experience, these solutions will be cost effective and connected to desired business outcomes.
- Use data as a diagnostic to identify root causes and support solution finding to delvier strong business KPIs.
- Co-ordinate and deliver learning and development solutions.
- Work with our third party partners to provide cost effective and people centric benefits’ programmes
- Work with the HR Co-ordinator to ensure a seamless employee experience and process optimisation with the successful deployment of the new HRIS.
- Market the employer brand to attract talented people to Orveon and ensure a great candidate experience
- Support recruiting managers to design and execute recruitment campaigns to fill vacancies in a good timeframe and to make great appointments
- As directed by the HR Director, deliver HR projects and initiatives across the whole HR spectrum which really add value.
What skills will you bring
- a positive and energetic vibe to the team, being a “can do” people person.
- You will have at least a basic understanding of employment legislation gained either from a role in HR or as a People Manager
- the ability to bring HR solutions to fruition, to see these through from concept to completion and with a delivery mindset.
- With an emphasis on coaching, you will be happy to challenge, adding value to the business through supporting managers and colleagues
- Ideally, you will feel comfortable delivering live learning solutions
- Juggling a huge number of balls, you will be highly efficient in your planning and task execution.
- Very comfortable with data and communication of trends graphically through excel and Powerpoint.
- Although comfortable operating at a high level, you will be happy to roll up your sleeves and be very hands on too.
