We are looking for a Senior HR Advisor this role will be responsible for shaping and delivering on a range of HR projects for the department

Main duties of the job
To be responsible for the delivery of a range of HR projects and services to meet the strategic and operational objectives outlined in the Trust’s People Strategy, Integrated Care System and National People Plans.
Management and facilitation of HR Governance, with responsibility for the creation, development and management of robust and effective governance arrangements within the HR function. This involves planning and organising a broad range of complex HR Governance activities including the formulation and adjustment of work and plans on an ongoing basis.
Lead with the development, implementation and evaluation of innovative policy and governance solutions which will support the department and Trust to successfully embed organisational and cultural changes and improve the working lives of our People.
Work closely with the HR management team and provide the senior leadership team with high quality advice and challenge to influence improvement in HR governance
To act as a role model within the HR team and for the department both within the Trust and externally, demonstrating the Trust values at all times. To develop and maintain effective and positive working relationships at all levels of the Trust including Staff Side Leads, senior managers and with external partners.

Education
Essential criteria
- Masters level / Level 7 Advanced CIPD HR qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience at a similar level Membership of CIPD
Desirable criteria
- Educated to Degree Level or equivalent
Experience

- In-depth experience of Human Resource Management (HRM)

- Experience of HR Governance and risk management

- Able to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of staff internal and external to the Trust. This may include highly sensitive or complex information attracting an element of resistance or challenge
- Able to prepare complex but clear written reports and letters

Salary: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.

ID and Right to work checks: NUH authenticate ID and right to work documentation including passports and driving licenses through a system called Trust ID. The system will run a check against the key security features within your documentation. The system will provide us with an outcome of your check which will be stored securely on your personal file along with all other pre-employment check documentation.

I also consent to the Occupational Health Department confidentially accessing my occupational health records from my current or previous employer in order to check the status of my vaccinations, immunisations s and screening tests as relevant to the post. I understand this is an automated process and the information will only be used for these purposes prior to me taking up the position at NUH.
- Disclosure and Barring Service: Your post maybe subject to a DBS check which incur a cost dependent on the level of check required (£41.90 for enhanced and £21.90 for standard). I agree to reimburse Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust the cost of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check if it is required (by deduction from first month’s pay).
