Job role and purpose:
To manage all HR operational activities and deliver a high class and efficient service including managing recruitment, employee relation casework, dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement, and redundancy.
Main duties and responsibilities:
· Manage operational HR service related to the whole employee life cycle.
· Manage and coordinate payroll with the Finance team on a monthly basis.
· To provide expertise across the whole employee life cycle and ensure the HR department is providing an excellent service.
· To line manage existing HR Administrator and HR Officer and any other relevant members of the HR team to ensure the best HR Service is delivered on a daily basis.
· Managing the recruitment and selection process including recruitment planning, attending interviews, making offers, drafting of contracts and the managing the on boarding process.
· Provide first level advice to managers on HR Policies and a full range of HR issues and benefits.
· To advise and support on HR matters and ER cases across the organisation including but not limited to; disciplinaries, sickness absence meetings, capability meetings, grievance hearings and welfare meetings.
· Ensure the HR System is updated and provide HR data when required.
· Provide support on complex HR matters and HR projects
· To be accountable for all HR documentation
· Providing HR metrics to the MMP Board as and when required
· Delivering training on HR policies and procedures as required
· To ensure the HR Department is running effectively and within full regulatory guidance of CQC and any other relevant regulatory bodies
· Ensure all regulatory activity is monitored, tracked and recorded appropriately
· Support on all HR aspects for new surgeries who are merging with MMP
· To ensure all HR activity is carried out within the framework of Employment Law, ACAS guidelines and also relevant case law
· Ensuring the HR Department is supporting employees as well as third party workers, medical students and trainee Drs appropriately and within the remits of relevant Employment Law
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Part time considered-Min 25 hours)
