About The Role
We have a new vacancy for a HR Manager within our HR department located at Moreton on Lugg, Herefordshire. This role will be to support the HR function at our distribution centre, and line manage our HR Advisors to drive fairness and consistency in all HR matters.
Your day-to-day duties and responsibilities will include:
- Providing quality guidance and support to the senior team through complex HR issues in order to minimise business risk
- Reviewing ER caseloads regularly to ensure managing business risk and support HR Advisors
- Upskilling direct and the wider HR team
- Using management information, HR stats and feedback to identify opportunities to improve business performance, incorporating action plans into people planning documents
- Developing people plans that directly support the achievement of business goals
- Building honest, open, and challenging business relationships which can be leveraged to make things happen
- Acting as the interface between business and HR specialist functions
- Operating as ‘equal’ partners with senior team whilst maintaining an independent position
- Proactively managing the performance management across the business and contributing to talent management
- Designing/delivering the required training programmes either through classroom teaching or one to one support with the Management & Supervisor upskill, increasing capability
- Participating or leading in working parties/projects that support the delivery of HR initiatives
- Supporting or driving the company’s employee engagement strategy.

Hours of work:
On site full time Monday - Friday, working general office hours.

- CIPD qualified
