We are looking for a Head of Talent to lead our global hiring efforts. This role reports to the Chief People Officer and currently manages 5 direct reports. In this role, you will drive our recruitment strategy and partner with senior business leaders, Total Rewards, and HR, working collaboratively to ensure alignment and execution. This role can be located in either San Francisco, CA or Chicago, IL. At Front, we value the opportunity to to be in person and work with one another. Like a majority of our People roles, this role will be a hybrid one - working in the office two days per week (Tuesday and Thursday) with flexibility to work from home or elsewhere the remainder of the week.
You Will
- Lead a team of Recruiters and Recruiting coordinators, setting clear expectations through career development plans and supporting their ongoing growth
- Be a step ahead of resourcing and hiring for the talent team. Understand when and where you need resources to ensure the team is adequately resourced
- Build scalable processes – define, design, and implement with measurable goals ensuring we increase efficiencies and productivity
- Manage recruiting efficiency and headcount planning for the team
- Build a culture of transparency and trust with a focus on fostering inclusivity
- Utilize data to influence recruiting strategy, budget, and tooling
- Partner directly with business leaders and executives to strategize on critical hires and prioritize in partnership with them
- Set and communicate recruiting OKRs and goals regularly to the people and leadership team
- Have a consistent feedback loop with the compensation team on sharing market trends, tracking data gathered from candidates, and building closing strategies
- Operate at scale by ensuring all recruiters and hiring managers have a proven way to articulate Front’s product, equity story, and culture
- Partner closely with cross functional key stakeholders (Finance, HR Business Partners, Compensation, Senior Leaders) to determine future talent needs and drive strategic recruiting strategies
You have
- 7+ years of recruiting experience
- 3+ years experience in-house, managing and coaching a team of Recruiters
- Proven track record meeting and exceeding team hiring goals, delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to successfully influence stakeholders at all levels
- An analytical mindset, fluent with recruiting analytics and how to build and improve processes; a proven ability to utilize data to tell stories that drive decisions
- Proven innovator and strategic problem solver – you can envision and create a strategy for a high growth and diverse workforce
- Proven ability to meet independently with senior leaders and present to them with confidence, impact, and influence
- Preferred experience managing Engineering or Technical Teams
Zone 3: $150,000 - $190,000 USD
