About the role:
Your main objective is to ensure the organisation achieves its goals by creating and delivery on people strategy. You will be a people champion supporting every aspect of the employee life cycle whilst embedding ATPI’s vision, values, and purpose through a strategic people agenda
Employee Relations
- Taking the lead whilst advising and supporting managers on all employee relation issues, including but not limited to performance management, sickness and absence, disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Monitoring, updating, and advising staff and managers on HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are adhered to and effectively communicated across the business
- Monitor staff turnover and ensuing exit interviews are carried out, analysing, and reporting on findings to improve attrition rate where possible
Employee Engagement
- Champion an open culture for individuals to feel comfortable in approaching HR and the management team
- To lead or support initiatives across the business that promote health and wellbeing
- Seek out innovative ways to find and attract talented people to join ATPI
Payroll and Benefits
- Work closely with the payroll team, reporting payroll information to the appointed agency and fulfilling payroll data checks
- Reviewing benefits package to make suggestions within budget
Supervision and Team Development
- Provide support, leadership, and development to the HR Team to increase knowledge, share best practice, and ensure professional standards are met
- Demonstrate a high-performance ethic with a focus on successful outcomes
- Promote positive attitudes and motivational team environment in which people enjoy working
Training and Development
- To endeavor to become familiar with the training needs of the company.
- To take an active interest in the trainee programme provided in-house
- Managing apprenticeship levy fund
Financial
- To become actively involved in the financial aspect of HR. This involves the creation and update of various reports to enable HR to provide accurate information to the Board for planning purposes
Required Skills
- Significant in-depth experience in HR Management or equivalent
- CIPD Level 5
- Strong up to date knowledge of employment legislation and it’s practical application
- Experience in advising and managing grievance and disciplinary investigations
- Experience of Transfer of Undertakings
- Experience of Redundancy process
- Excellent MS Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint
- High levels of integrity and excellent communication and people skills
- Ability to build positive relationships and quickly gain the trust and confidence of key stakeholders
Desirable Skills
- CIPD Level 7
- Experience of leading HR Projects
- Experience of working in a Global Company
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
