Job description
Salary: up to £33,954.80 per annum
Location: South East London
Weekly Hours: Full Time
Acting as an ambassador for the MD and the organisation in every respect, and staying one step ahead of what’s needed, the PA will confidently control the organisation of the MD and support their workload – whether this means optimising the time of them and their team, arranging meetings, writing documents and presentations, communicating with colleagues and stakeholders, or providing creative, solution focused project management/support.

Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a PA to Managing Director on a permanent basis at our Westminster Bridge Road office.
A bit about the role:
As a PA to Managing Director, some of the key results for the role include:
Support the MD role by actively managing their and that of the teams with confidence, knowing when to highlight key messages and tasks, when to respond on their behalf, when to delegate actions to one of their team, or when to delete.
Organise events, conferences and business meetings, including arranging venues or video conferencing, travel and accommodation, preparing agendas, collating and distributing pre-reading material and presentations, liaising with suppliers, coordinating travel arrangements, preparing rooms and equipment in advance and recording/distributing/following up actions and outputs.
Take accurate minutes and follow up on actions; track actions to ensure completed within required deadlines.
Raising purchase orders, managing relevant budgets and managing departmental purchase card, ensuring invoices are accurate and processed in a timely manner.
Maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
