BAT UK IS LOOKING FOR A HR INTERN – TALENT AND INCLUSION
SENIORITY LEVEL: Internship
FUNCTION: Human Resources
LOCATION: London, UK
DURATION: 6 months Fixed-Term Contract
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
BAT is transforming its approach to learning & development in order to build the critical capabilities needed for ‘A Better Tomorrow’. As part of this journey, employees are strengthening their skills through a blended mix of virtual, digital & face-to-face learning options. BAT partners with leading business schools, training, and technology providers in order to provide the latest thinking and tools that will provoke curiosity, challenge existing thinking, and translate to on-the-job impact.
The HR Intern will bring their own fresh thinking and energy to the team for an action-focused 6 month fixed-term contract. The HR Intern will be responsible for their own mini projects, as well as supporting larger initiatives across Talent Management, Diversity, and Inclusion.
Reports to: Group Head of Talent Management, Diversity and Inclusion

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Supporting Talent Management and D&I team with the development and delivery of global strategic projects- Helping to track the impact of our initiatives through benchmarking, reviewing data, and preparing updates
- Developing Talent, Diversity and Inclusion communications and collateral for internal stakeholders
- Bringing your ideas to Talent projects such as rollout of D&I training, internal events and programme deployment
- Building digital learning playlists, selecting content to build capabilities across BAT Group
- Overseeing our social media footprint for Talent Management, Diversity and Inclusion

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Possess good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise
- Have completed or are on the verge of completing a Bachelors’ Degree in any discipline, HR qualification is not essential
