Local People Partner - UK & Ireland
London Victoria Office - Office Based (in the office 4 days per week)
Overall responsibility: Responsibility for all HR day-to-day operations in the UK and Ireland.
Key Accountabilities are:
- Employee Onboarding and Offboarding: Assisting with the coordination and execution of employee onboarding and offboarding. This includes the preparation of new hire contracts, new starter documentation including benefits enrollment and support, HR inductions and ensuring smooth exits.
- HR Data Management and Reporting: Maintaining accurate HR records and updating records. This includes personal information, benefits, performance and payroll. Using this data to provide analysis that spots issues quickly and helps drive improvements.
- Performance Management: Ensuring that our line managers and employees are fully supported through probation and with goal setting, succession planning and development plans.
- HR Compliance: Ensuring you keep up to date with local legislation updates including best practice in an FCA regulated environment.
- HR Projects: Get involved with the wider global teams' projects and process improvements including employee engagement initiatives, global mobility, incentive schemes etc.
- Employment Relations: Strong background in ER cases from investigation to appeals. Experience in dealing with ACAS would be beneficial to your application but it is not essential.
- Solid HR generalist background: With advisory experience in a fast-paced sales or professional service background. Must have knowledge of local UK&I legislation. (Financial Services ideal but not essential).
- Attention to detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, especially when dealing with employee personal information.
- Interpersonal skills: Proactive as well as highly responsive, strong interpersonal skills, with an approachable and empathetic style that fosters strong stakeholder engagement.
- Problem solving: Ability to analyse problems, think critically and propose effective solutions.With the ability to work flexibly between working on your own initiative and collaborating with others.
- Confidentiality: Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of HR generalist experience in UK& Ireland
- CIPD level 5 or equivalent (candidates who are working towards qualifications will be considered)
