About the Job
Support the UK People Experience HR Team in providing high-quality and proactive support service to the business, both virtually and on-site. Meeting both corporate and statutory requirements, encompassing all aspects of resourcing, employee relations, employee development and reward, and adding value in support of the
Primary Job Responsibilities
Provide guidance and support to UK-wide colleagues on HR best practices, ensuring a proactive delivery of HR processes and consistent measurement across the sites.
Act as the first point of contact for line managers on all HR related issues, in particular:
- Absence Management
Performance Management
Capability
Discipline and Grievance
Employment Law
Employee Relations
HR Policies and Procedures
Attend cross- site operations meetings and provide support on HR related issues.
Support the UK HR Team in providing advise and guidance to the site leadership team on best practice, compliance with employment legislation and internal security and audit procedures.
Work closely with the Newcastle on site team, in the development of a performance -driven culture, which encourages individual ownership of results.
Support the UK HR Team in ensuring attendance and attrition are effectively managed and reviewed, with remedial actions taken where necessary.
Take the lead on complex casework
Design and delivery of HR Master Classes
Support and deliver HR related projects
SALARY - £26,000 - £28,000
HOURS - 37.5 per week, Monday - Friday
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Call Center experience a plus
- Demonstrated success in conducting behavioral interviews and management talent assessments.
- Extensive knowledge of general labor policies and practices, including discrimination, harassment and union avoidance (where applicable).
- Experience demonstrating extensive knowledge, interpretation and application of employment laws.
