Barbour Environment, Health & Safety is part of Marlowe PLC. Barbour EHS services are used by professionals across a variety of commercial and public organisations in the UK and Ireland.

About the role
To achieve the targeted renewal rate by managing a wide variety of accounts. This entails, looking after our customers’ needs, from training clients how to use the service, legal register support, login and search issues and answering queries. By keeping in regular contact with your customers you will monitor changes in their businesses or usage so you can respond accordingly.
You must Increase your renewal base by selling additional modules or to other sites or divisions and upsell your target by ensuring your diary is filled with at least 7-10 training sessions per week.
What we think you will need
- You will be an experienced account manager with a proven sales track record and a strong understanding of the sales process.
- Experienced in selling remotely by Teams calls.
- Exceptional questioning technique to ensure you understand your client’s needs so you can best advise and support on our products.
- Working very much on your own initiative you will be self-motivated and driven.
- A good team player working within an established and successful team.
- Understand the importance of prioritising.
- You need to demonstrate excellent organisational skills, good IT skills with a good understanding of Outlook, Teams meetings and understand the importance of keeping the CRM system up to date.
- You will need to be articulate and have good literacy skills.
- Sales Force experience an advantage.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- The ability to think outside the box.
- If you have a good understanding of solution selling and/or a backgroudn in information sales it would be a big bonus
