We are seeking an HR Generalist, International to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Uxbridge, England office.

Job Summary

As our international team is expanding in the UK and DACH region, this role is essential in enabling business and people solutions through effective HR programs, processes, and policies. This role will partner closely with both Human Resources and the UK and DACH teams to support business priorities and deliverables, ensuring necessary HR operational, regulatory and process requirements are in place and managed.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The first point of contact for inquiries regarding benefits from employees across Germany and the UK.
  • Manage the day-to-day benefits administration for Germany and the UK, ensuring all benefits documentation is up to date, support annual renewals as well as scope out new benefit offerings as needed.
  • Assist in monthly benefit invoice auditing.
  • Managing onboarding processes in line with legal requirements, communicate with new hires, and support onboarding presentations and communications.
  • Conduct 1 month check-in for all new hires, co-ops and interns.
  • Assist Recruitment team by conducting interviews for open requisitions in Germany and the UK as needed.
  • Oversee documentation for leavers, supporting exit interviews and other necessary communications for both Germany and UK.
  • Managing tasks in ADP HRIS tools and support workflow processes, such as controlling and monitoring sickness, leave, and holidays in the internal system
  • Improve processes by identifying problems and recommending solutions
  • Assist with the international based iCares program in researching new event ideas, planning and overseeing all volunteer events throughout the years and sending communication to the organization pre/post events.
  • Contribute to monthly HR Newsletter for all employees.
  • Participate in different HR and employee experience initiatives including but not limited to Culture Committee and Wellness Committee.
  • Willingness to learn International payroll processes including assist with the review of payroll transactions, request/inquire information from international payroll support vendors, audit approved pay adjustments, ensure leave balances are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Other duties as assigned and required.

Required Qualifications

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Native German speaking – essential
  • Experience of both UK and German employment law - essential
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related discipline.
  • 5 years of benefits experience with a focus on international benefits in EMEA and APAC.
  • Knowledge of payroll, compliance practices, and regulations in the UK, and Germany, a plus.
  • Strong understanding of global best practices, current trends, and market benchmarks in the tech industry.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage programs and projects with minimal guidance.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be proficient with various computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Must be self-motivated, flexible, energetic, ability to multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Discretion and ability to deal appropriately with confidential data
  • Ability to travel – up to 10%
