The Senior Human Resource Investigations Generalist supports HR management with the planning, organizing, and implementation of HR strategies in support of the organization's overall strategic objectives while ensuring that employment policies are in compliance with government regulations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage, provide guidance, and communicate on the interpretation and administration of company policies, procedures, and programs
- Assist with filing FMLA and ADA claims and working through the interactive process with team members.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on their rights and responsibilities under FMLA and ADA.
- General management of leaves of absence.
- Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations using effective interviewing and documentation techniques in response to a range of employee relations concerns, including discrimination, retaliation, policy violations, EEOC claims, etc.
- Provide updates and counsel leadership staff on employee relations issues
- Communicate regularly regarding pending investigations and provides timely investigation reports with supporting documentation
- Partner with senior management and legal to facilitate the prompt and effective resolution of workplace concerns
- Partner with Talent Acquisition in all matters regarding requisitions, hiring, and transfers
- Attend unemployment hearings as necessary
- Facilitates supervisor training, new-hire orientation, open enrollment sessions, and other training classes as needed
- Maintain confidentiality in all areas including, but not limited to, personnel actions, legal actions, terminations, and organizational plans
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising leadership on needed actions
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
- Liaison between the Benefits and Payroll/HRIS Department and team members/managers

Supervisory Responsibilities N/A
- General working knowledge of employment laws and practices
- Demonstrated experience leading a variety of employee investigations
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Minimum 5-7 years of employee relations experience with relevant experience as a human resources business partner
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- SHRM-CP or PHR strongly preferred
