About the role
The Trust has grown significantly in recent years, and since 2020 has adopted new and more agile ways of working. HR processes and procedures are robust but there may be scope to modernise in some areas. In particular we aim to harmonise our HR systems and pay and benefits with The Wildlife Trusts (TWT) nationally in order to facilitate career progression. We also aim to provide more support and training for staff wellbeing and personal development.
There is now an opportunity for a HR professional to review and develop our HR systems and help ensure that SWT is and remains a great place to work.
A secondary role is to provide limited administrative support the Chair and CEO.
Who we're looking for
Ideally, you’ll have / hold:
CIPD level 3 or 5
Experience in a similar Human Resources role, with a good understanding of essential HR legislation and good practice is essential.
Very strong administrative and ICT skills including Word, Excel and email.
Experience supporting managers with recruitment and line management would be advantageous.
Knowledge of Breathe HR, and of MS365 and Teams is desirable.
