About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic apprentices to join our friendly and professional Cyber Security Team, working to further embed Cyber Security into the business and partner organisations. Cybercrime and Cyber Security are now part of our everyday lives. This role gives the opportunity for you to make a difference in such a key area supporting the design, development and delivery of a range of Cyber Security Technologies, further supporting and educating the business in Cyber Security. You will use tooling to investigate, analyse and understand events to spot any anomalies to threat hunt and keep the council and partners safe and secure.
Combining work and education, this role allows you to take steps in starting or changing your career. Studying for a BSc (Hons) Cyber Security Technical Professional Level 6 undergraduate Degree whilst gaining first-hand experience as a valued member of our team, will give you the ability to develop your knowledge, skills and exposure you will need for a career in Cyber Security.
About You
No experience is required, just a desire to succeed and a keen interest in technology and a desire to develop skills in other areas of the technical specialism focussed on Cyber Security. We will provide you with a thorough training programme so that you are comfortable in your role and can perform to the best of your abilities. You will need to take pride in your work and be a real team player and the ability to build rapport with colleagues and partners. You will need to be able to meet the entry requirements of the Cyber Security Technical Professional Apprenticeship and have the willingness, desire and to successfully complete this demanding apprenticeship.
