Role Summary:
The HR generalist will support the business in delivery of the HR function on a 12 month fixed term contract covering maternity leave.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional advice, guidance and support to line managers and team leaders in relation to ER matters including attendance, performance, capability and conduct in line with business policy
- Support line managers and team leaders in effective implementation of best HR practice
- Create and update company policies and compliance with our 3rd party provider to ensure policies remain fit for purpose
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)
- Facilitating and conducting a range of formal hearings such as disciplinary and grievance when required
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, liaising with agencies, sourcing candidates, co-ordinating interviews, issuing contractual documents and onboarding
- Assist our recruiters and use online resources to source candidates and update our database

What we're looking for
- 5 years’ experience working within a HR Generalist role
- Able to lead, coach and train line managers and team leaders on HR best practices
- A flexible approach to changing priorities, with the ability to manage and prioritise your workload
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to build and maintain credible relationships with managers and employees
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
