We are seeking a HR Generalist who is passionate, driven and resourceful. Super-organised and bursting with initiative to support our international O&T Client Group. The purpose of this role is to support HR activity effectively and efficiently, ensuring that a best-in-class service is provided to all employees. You will be the first point of contact for all HR queries across the group, managing employee lifecycle events, providing system, operational, employee relations and policy support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day to day HR support and advice for all clients including recruitment, on-boarding, off-boarding, compensation analysis, performance management, and reporting/analytics
- Support managers and employees by advising on NBCU policies and procedures
- Manage the end-to-end family leave processes; maternity, paternity, shared parental leave
- Support recruitment activities including editing job descriptions, screening candidates, supporting the offer process, and liaising with the hiring managers for both staff and temporary roles
- Participate in and support HR Director with key HR initiatives such as performance management, DEI information, succession planning and compensation planning
- Assist in and manage employee relations cases, where appropriate including absence management and performance management
- Serve as a primary user of HR systems & maintain expertise in systems (SAP, BW, myHR, edays), processes, and security to enable accurate submissions and reporting.
- Submit and finalise the monthly payroll cycle
- Maintain and administer transactions related to visa processing & global mobility processes
- Handle all freelance contracts and tracking
- Support and facilitate strategic HR projects within O&T and the wider business.

- Project and process management skills, demonstrated track record of delivering results
- Strong employee-relations skills; must be approachable and able to earn trust and credibility with employees in the client groups
- Highly resourceful and organized with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
- Able to deal effectively with conflict and manage difficult employee relations situations
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Extremely flexible with the ability to easily shift priorities
- Exceptional communication skills, with the professional savvy of communicating at all levels
- Possess a natural, yet professional ease at working with and relating to the needs of employees in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Experience of managing payroll activities and knowledge of SAP systems would be desirable
- Experience working within UK employment law parameters preferable
