12 Month FTC

Our Head Office Employment Law department sits within HR and is now looking for an Administrator to join a growing and high-performing team for a 12-month FTC. This team actively supports Lidl GB’s leadership principles through the application of Employment Law contributing to the organisation’s value proposition, giving sound legal advice, and influencing to promote a fair and positive workplace. This role will be a central point of contact for many business departments seeking help and advice on Employment Law policies and procedural compliance.
We have moved to a hybrid working model with a recommended 2 days in the office per week for appropriate Head Office and Regional roles, empowering our teams to choose how and where they work best. We feel it is important that, where possible, we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible and trust our teams to determine the right environments that work most effectively for them.
What you'll do
- Create and input data onto excel spreadsheets, ensuring records are accurate and kept up to date
- Supporting with the updates and administration of our internal Compliance Management Programme (CMS)
- Analyse data from the Case Management Tool to identify key statistics to support with the department strategy
- Support the creation and issue of employee correspondence using standard template letters
- Management of the Occupational Health process
- Processing invoices, photocopying, scanning and accurately storage of documentation
- Carry out research and analyse data for the Employment Law team
- Maintaining the Employment Law inbox and responding to adhoc queries from departments or regions
- Note taking in hearings and investigations for the Employment Law team
- Support the Employment Law team with case management
- Supporting with the upkeep and ongoing accuracy of compliance tools (ARIS/One Trust)
What you'll need
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Methodical approach to problem solving
- Able to demonstrate a genuine interest in Employment Law
- Experience in Employment Law or HR would be desirable but not essential
- UK driving license desirable
