JOB PURPOSE
As our HR Data Analyst, you will be working with and supported by a multi-disciplinary HR team that is passionate about creating and delivering exceptional colleague experience at all stages of our colleague’s career at Burberry. Working closely with key stakeholders within HR and across the wider business functions, you will be responsible for supporting HR data Governance, Reporting and Analytics, delivered through SAP SuccessFactors Reporting and Tableau.
In addition, you will act as first point of contact for HR data and reporting queries, responsible for activities relating to capturing and documenting of reporting requirements, supporting data governance processes and, research and development of best practice across the HR data landscape.
You will be working on a global scale, in a positive, supportive, creative, respectful and ambitious team where we value your ideas and everyone can have their voice heard and make a difference. We operate a hybrid working model at Burberry, and we would expect our HR Data Analyst to work from our Leeds office 1 day per week, with the remainder remote.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing first line support for data and reporting queries and/or issues; a central point of contact in collating, trouble-shooting, resolving and escalating issues
- Developing and enhancing reporting capability, ensuring business data needs are met with a view to leveraging/enabling self-service opportunities wherever possible
- Supporting data governance by ensuring current controls are adhered to and developing new controls per business requirements
- Partnering and collaborating with our Global Employee Services Team to improve data quality and integrity
- Performing data quality assurance checks either, ad hoc as required or, in support of annual cyclic events
- Producing and maintaining data processing and training documentation
- Remaining solutions-oriented, seeking ways to improve system functionality and reporting capability with a view to enhancing and improving overall user experience
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Report development and maintenance experience, preferably in SAP SuccessFactors
- Analytics and insights development and maintenance experience, preferably in Tableau
- Expertise in defining and analysing business processes and dataflow
- A good understanding of HR processes
- Proficiency across MS Office suite, particularly Excel
- Analytical and solutions-oriented mind-set
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Ability to build rapport, persuade and influence others
- Project management support experience is desired, but not essential
