A little bit about the role
This is a hybrid role with some travel required to our London office (minimum once every 2 weeks)
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our small but supportive People Team leading on all aspects of HR administration. This is an interesting and varied role for someone with a passion for providing an excellent people-focused service and who wants to develop a career in HR. You will work closely with the Head of People and People Partner, in a generalist capacity to support with continuous improvement across all areas of people team activity helping us to achieve Frontline’s organisational objective of having 4,000 impactful Fellows by 2025, who will create social change for children without a safe or stable home.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
- Ensuring all employee data and records are up to date in our HR system (Cezanne) and electronic files;
- Managing the payroll process, working closely with the Finance Officer to ensure it is processed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Issuing all people-related paperwork including changes to terms and conditions
- Supporting with the recruitment process, including advertising new roles and liaising closely with hiring managers during the process
- Coordinating all pre-employment checks for new starters
- Coordinating learning and development activities for the organisation
- Providing support across all HR projects and proactively contributing creative ideas
A little bit about you
We're looking for someone with strong organisation and administrative skills who can provide an efficient and customer-focused service covering the whole employee life-cycle. This is busy and varied role, so we're looking for someone with excellent time management skills, who can adapt to a fast-paced working environment ensuring accuracy and paying close attention to detail. You'll need to have strong communication skills, excellent IT skills and take a flexible and proactive approach to your work.
You don't need to have worked in a charity before, but you'll need to have some experience of working in a HR team, or in a busy administrative role, with some knowledge of HR processes and systems. There is lots of scope for learning and development in this role and we are happy to support the successful candidate to achieve their CIPD qualification.
